Logan West Crowned Miss Teen USA

Here she is, Miss… well, Teen USA!
Logan West, a 17-year old from Southington, Connecticut took home this honor on Saturday night, defeating 15 other finalists from across the nation in a ceremony held in the Bahamas.
The first Teen USA pageant winner in that state’s history, West defeated runner-up Miss Michigan Courtney Pizzimenti for the title.

People can soon stop asking “Where is Casey Anthony?”
The acquitted murder suspect went into hiding after her July 17 release, with people speculation that she was everywhere from California to the Bahamas.
Thanks to a judge’s order, however, Anthony soon will return to her native Orlando, Fla., within the next three days to report to a local probation office.
Orange County Judge Stan Strickland signed court documents requiring Anthony to serve a year of supervised probation on her check fraud charges.
“She should report to probation, probably within 72 hours,” Strickland said.

The Miss Teen USA pageant crowned a new, gorgeous titleholder last night in Danielle Doty, an 18-year-old hailing from Harlingen, Texas.
Doty beat out Audra Mari of North Dakota to win the title and will take over from the reigning Miss Teen USA, Kamie Crawford of Maryland.
Alexis Swanstrom (Miss Teen California), Taylor Clark (Miss Teen Kansas) and Sydnee Stottlemyre (Miss Teen Missouri) rounded out the top five.
The prestigious beauty pageant, which streamed live online, did not take place in the United States, but rather at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Singer Jewel and husband Ty Murray have welcomed a son. His name is Kase Townes Murray and he was born Monday evening in Texas!
Kase arrived at 7 p.m. CST and weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
“We are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world,” Jewel and Murray, a professional bull rider, told People. “We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!”
Jewel found out she was pregnant on the first day of her job co-hosting Bravo’s Platinum Hit: “I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!”
