Martin Tremblay, Youth Hockey Coach, Sentenced to Jail for Tripping Incident

Martin Tremblay, a youth hockey coach in British Columbia, has been sentenced to 15 days in prison for tripping a 13-year old opponent during his team’s post-game handshake exchange.
The incident (below) took place in July, with one of the two victims who fell to the ace actually breaking his wrist upon impact.

Lindsay Lohan to Seek Extensive Psychotherapy, Set Up Youth Foundation, Lawyer Claims

Throwing everything against the wall in hopes that something will stick, Lindsay Lohan‘s attorney says she is going to seek help – and devote time and money to helping others.
Mark Heller, filed a motion requesting that Lohan’s probation-violation case be put on the “slow track” so she can pursue “certain activities which will benefit her.”
Ones which will make her a “productive and responsible contributor to society.”
We just have to ask: Does he know who his client is?

The day after Kris Humphries’ lawyer peaced out on his client and also trashed Humphries for claiming he can annul his marriage to Kim Kardashian, a judge has set a trial date for this pair to finally hash it all out.
They will meet in court on May 6.
Kardashian’s attorney fought for a date next month, but nothing was available until well into the spring.

Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos is far from pleased with the L.A. County District Attorney’s allegation that the star lied about doing community service.
In his official response to the D.A.’s scathing motion, Geragos hits back hard, claiming that prosecutors omitted key facts and implying they are out to get Chris.

Lindsay Lohan, Bags Searched at LAX

Needing a break from her latest legal troubles, and always looking to save money when she’s broke, Lindsay Lohan jetted off to Dubai with mom Dina Lohan.
Not before the star and her belongings were searched at LAX, however.
Lohan was stopped by TSA agents at LAX’s security gate, who then proceeded to rifle through her Louis Vuitton bag, among other carry-on luggage.
Somewhat astonishingly, she was allowed to go on her way!
Good thing, too, because she can scarcely afford any legal trouble. She’s so far in the hole now, it’s a small wonder she has a roof over her head.

Amanda Bynes, threatened with eviction by her landlord for breaking rules and being disrespectful toward others, packed up and left her NYC apartment last week.
According to reports, Bynes got a letter from management in January explaining that her lease would be terminated (presumably February 1, when she left).

Management made the decision to evict following complaints of marijuana smoke emanating from Amanda Bynes‘ apartment “morning, noon and night.”

Lindsay Lohan pulled a dumb move Monday, even by her lofty standards. She could have avoided jail time, again, by accepting a plea deal for “lockdown rehab.”
Instead, she fired her longtime lawyer, Shawn Holley, who was literally on the way to the courthouse to make it happen … that’s really smart, Lindsay. Brava.

Amanda Bynes Settles With Hit-and-Run Victims; Charges Dropped, City Attorney PISSED

Amanda Bynes has reached financial settlements with both of her hit-and-run victims from earlier this year, and the L.A. City Attorney’s office is far from pleased.
As you surely heard, the troubled star was charged with two counts of hit-and-run stemming from separate 2012 in which she hit other people’s cars, then bailed.
Bynes has since struck a financial deal with both sets of victims, however, and her attorney then convinced a judge to throw out the criminal charges against her.

One week after their relationship hit rock bottom, Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have reportedly agreed to a legal truce.
Details of the accord are scarce, but Aubry showed up in court today (Berry and fiancé Olivier Martinez were absent), with his attorney and Berry’s attorney releasing a joint statement a short while ago that simply reads:
“The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”
