That was fast. Only a week after being released from jail, troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is already back there on contempt of court charges.
The 22-year-old was booked a little after 5 p.m. Thursday.
“Amber finally had enough. The system failed her, and that is all I can say,” brother Shawn Portwood said. Yes. The system failed. Good attitude.
“I really feel for my sister. She does not deserve to be there or anything that has happened to her. She is only there because of who she is.”

Amber Portwood has been released from jail. She got sprung yesterday.
The troubled Teen Mom star was placed back behind bars last week after violating the terms of her probation by failing to appear in an Indiana court.
The 22-year-old allegedly lied about a medical condition to get out of a drug test. Her probation officer called the bluff, asking her doctor directly.
Some very sleepy-eyed Amber Portwood mug shots soon followed.
How’s the reality star feeling now that she’s back on the other side?
“OK,” Amber told E! News. “Just hustling. I’ve got a lot on my plate.”
It’s the beginning of the end for Teen Mom’s fabulous foursome – Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell – on MTV this summer.
Though the Teen Mom franchise is sticking around on the network with its second (and soon-to-be third) ensembles, the four who started it all are bowing out.
The final season, premiering next month, promises big things for Amber, Maci, Farrah and Cate. Take a look at the trailer for their upcoming swan song below:

Troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is back in an Indiana jail after local prosecutors claimed she lied about a medical condition to avoid a drug test.
As part of her probation, Portwood is required to undergo a weekly test and drug court appointment. She was apparently a no-show at last week.
Amber told officials that she was on doctor-ordered bed rest following laparoscopic gall bladder surgery and required to remains so for 2-3 weeks.
A good excuse … if only it were legitimate.
Amazingly, Amber Portwood’s case manager didn’t want to take the reality star’s word for it. After he spokeMore >
It looks like Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout will be calling it a career after the upcoming fourth season of Teen Mom.
MTV confirmed this in a statement Friday. If there’s any confusion this means the fourth and final season for just the cast members mentioned above.
Teen Mom 2, featuring Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry just aired its second season and may still receive a third on MTV.
Meanwhile, there will be a Teen Mom 3, with the cast selected from members of the all-new 16 & Pregnant cast … everybody clear on all thisMore >
Troubled star Amber Portwood will not be present as the cast members of Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 head to NYC this weekend to participate in a reunion special.
Amber’s mom, Tonya, tells E! that the judge overseeing her daughter’s probation denied permission for her to leave Anderson, Ind., to participate in the event.
“He thinks it will interfere with her program,” says Tonya.
Probably right. But despite the setback, Amber isn’t sweating it too hard. It wasn’t long ago before it looked like her filming days were done altogether.

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood just got out of jail free … mostly.
On Friday, the MTV reality train wreck was released from jail, but instead of heading to a halfway house after leaving the Madison County (Ind.) correctional facility, she’s already settling in at another house … her maternal grandmother’s.
“Amber is all taken care of [and] getting settled in,” says her mom, Tonya.
Last week, after the halfway house denied Amber, her mom told us that she was “happy and relieved that she [wouldn't] have to live in a halfway house.”
“Now she will get to spend more time with her daughter, whichMore >
Troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is considering NOT taking a plea deal because it would effectively end her reality TV career, according to reports.
Amber is supposed to be released from jail into the care of a halfway house this week after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance.
She may end up changing her plea, however, so she can continue shooting Teen Mom as much as possible, sources tell E! News. Why on Earth …
Portwood, who faces up to five years in jail if she violates probation, is not going to change her plea because she wants to sit in a cell instead.

Amber Portwood’s Teen Mom career may have just come to an end.
An Indiana judge just handed down a tough sentence on the reality star, who’s been in more legal hot water than we can even summarize in this space.
In court to deal with the fallout of a recent drug arrest and repeated probation violations, Amber reached a plea deal that keeps her out of the slammer.
Barely. That’s about all the tough judge was willing to grant her.
After completing rehab, Amber Portwood has been ordered to live in a halfway house for up to THREE YEARS and get a court approved 9-to-5 job five days a week.
Amber Portwood crashed on the floor of a jail cell.
According to law enforcement sources, Indiana’s Madison County Jail did not do anything to mark NYE. Visiting hours were 7:00-7:30 p.m. Amber had none.
At least she wasn’t alone. Due to overcrowding, Amber has been transferred out of the cell she shared with one other inmate and into a room with several others!

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was just reamed out in an Indiana courtroom, accused of violating her probation and pulling a no-show for two urine tests.
Law enforcement sources say Portwood got popped on December 16 for possession of a controlled substance. It’s unclear what exactly the substance was.
She also failed to provide mandatory urine drug screening results on December 16 and December 19. Not a smart move when you’re on probation already.

Troubled Teen Mom basket case Amber Portwood is opening up about her recent diagnosis with bipolar disorder, as well as a new man in her life.
One who she says is totally THE ONE.
“I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder three years ago. I struggle with it. I hate it. I grieve over it,” the reality star told E! News in an interview.
“When I went to rehab for two months, they diagnosed me with disassociative disorder too. It makes me black out. People don’t understand what it’s like.”
Things are looking up, though. Thanks to Mike, 22.

Jenelle Evans and two passengers, including her 2-year-old son Jace, were taken by ambulance to a Wilmington, N.C., hospital yesterday after a car crash.
The Teen Mom star drove a Chevy HHR into a light pole.
Stunningly, alcohol and drugs were not involved at all.
Jenelle Evans and the 18-year-old female passenger in the front with her were treated for minor injuries from sliding forward and hitting the dashboard.
Jace, strapped into his car seat in the back, was fine.” Evans took to Twitter right afterward to explain what happened … and preemptively call out TMZ.

Nice to see Amber Portwood is pulling it together so well these days.
On Saturday, the same day we reported what a suicidal wreck she still is, Amber got in an altercation while drinking at the 59th Street Pub in Anderson, Ind.
Those court-ordered anger management classes? Money well spent.
An onlooker says she was drinking and got into a fight with some girls on the dance floor of the club, where the 21-year-old Teen Mom star is a regular.
“Some people can’t handle fame,” a witness says. “They were on the dance floor, it was crowded on a Saturday night, and she bumped into someMore >
Like the U.S. economy, Amber Portwood’s recovery appears to have stalled.
Less than two months after checking out of a rehab, where she was being treated for depression and anger management following a suicide attempt, the Teen Mom star was rushed to the hospital after suffering a severe panic attack.
“I couldn’t breathe and I passed out,” she said. “I stopped breathing.”
Amber’s anguish, while serious and tragic, has done surprisingly little to inspire sympathy for the reality star, often criticized for partying and misplaced priorities.
“Honestly, I feel like I did two months ago. I’mMore >
