Kobe Bryant’s divorce was a long time coming, according to sources close to the Los Angeles Lakers star and his soon-to-be former spouse of 10 years.
Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe with “multiple women” over the years, but his most recent transgression, which took place “very recently,” was it for her.
A close source says that for, his latest affair was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, and she decided to finally end their marriage.
Sources would not say specifically how Vanessa caught Kobe, but it was not through text messages a la Tiger Woods, Rachel Uchitel and ElinMore >
As you’re probably aware, Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight last week when an attendant dared interrupt his intense game of Words With Friends.
How is the 30 Rock star handling this minor PR nightmare? By impersonating an AA pilot on SNL‘s Weekend Update and issuing a faux apology to himself, of course.
Sounding a little like John Edwards with a hilariously bogus Southern accent, “Captain Steve Rogers” went out of the way to apologize to the actor for removing him.
Not only that, he praised Baldwin as a bright, American hero.

Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison yesterday for what prosecutors called a criminal corruption crime spree three years ago.
Blagojevich was convicted of corruption charges including trying to trade President Barack Obama’s vacated U.S. Senate seat in exchange for money or favors.
Don’t expect any Lindsay Lohan loopholes either. He’ll have to serve a minimum of nearly 12 years under federal rules that require 85% of sentences be served.
As he left the Chicago courthouse, Blagojevich told reporters that “we’re going to keepMore >
Are Will and Jada Pinkett Smith headed for the land of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore?
The latest issue of Star Magazine claims this high profile couple will soon announce its divorce, an allegation we’d have laughed off a few months ago, but remember: the same tabloid first reported Ashton and Demi’s demise.
“They’ve been faking it for a long time and they don’t want to live a lie anymore,” an insider says of the Smiths. “Living and sleeping separately – and now Will finally walking out on Jada – have pushed them to their limit. They’re done.”

Occasionally volatile actor Alec Baldwin has issued an apology for the crazy incident that saw him get kicked off an American Airlines flight on Tuesday.
Baldwin became irate after his game of Words With Friends was interrupted with the flight from JFK to LAX still at the gate, but the cabin doors closed.
When he was asked to turn off his phone, Baldwin retreated to the bathroom and allegedly slammed the door, leading the pilot to call for his removal.
Today, he’s feeling bad about all this. He writes:
“First off, I would like to apologize to the other passengers onboard the AmericanMore >

Leisha Hailey is not finished with Southwest Airlines.
A day after the former L Word star and her girlfriend got booted from a flight – for “excessive” PDA that drew complaints from fellow passengers, according to a company statement – the actress has fired back.
She and her partner have released a joint statement that reads:
“In no way were our actions on Southwest Airlines excessive, inappropriate or vulgar. We want to make it clear we were not making out or creating any kind of spectacle of ourselves, it was one, modest kiss.More >
Hissy fit throwing, passenger endangering Jetblue employee Steve Slater may be loved by millions of people who don’t realize exactly how dangerous his stunt was, but JetBlue isn’t having any more of his possible pranks.
The airline announced this week that they would no longer be retaining the services of Slater who bailed from the plane after he says an unruly passenger caused him undue stress and bodily harm. Various individuals aboard that JetBlue flight have said the events that occurred are not as Slater remembers them.
Slater may have served for over a decade in the airline industryMore >
Almost all of America is rallying around Steven Slater, the former flight attendant who ended a 20-year career in the business by telling off a passenger and emergency sliding off a plane.
A Facebook group already has over 15,000 supporters signed up to defend Slater, while 97% of THG readers polled would give him a key to New York City.
However, JetBlue is not among those rushing to the defense of their ex-employee. Far from it, in fact.
According to an internal memo uncovered by TMZ, the airline is peeved at Slater. Immediately prior to Steve’s outburst, the memo confirms his plane wasMore >
After over two decades of dealing with rude airline passengers, Steven Slater finally lost it today.
The JetBlue flight attendant was aboard a recently-landed plane in New York’s Kennedy Airport when a woman got up prematurely to remove her baggage from the overhead bin. Slater approached the individual, only to be conked in the had with the suitcase and told to “f-ck off.”
He responded by getting on the intercom and saying: “To the f—ing a–hole who told me to f— off, it’s been a good 28 years. I’ve had it. That’s it.”
Slater then opened the emergency hatch, grabbed his two carry-on bags –More >
