Katie Couric Headed To 60 Minutes?

When Katie Couric steps down from her 5-year-gig as the first ever lead female news anchor of Evening News in June viewers may find her on 60 minutes.
The New York Post says Katie has already been offered the job of “regular correspondent” once her contract is up. As part of the agreement, Couric would also be required to serve as the host of a daytime talk show as part of her regular duties.
At this time Couric’s reps won’t divulge any information, simply stating:
“Katie’s on vacation this week. Hopefully, the speculation about Katie can take a week off, too.”

The singer reportedly dissolved a deal with Target over its political donations to MN Forward, a political action group that supported an anti-gay candidate.
When Target didn’t cut ties with that organization, Gaga pulled the plug.

Oksana’s Own Lawyer Suing Her Over $15 Million Settlement

Eric George, the lawyer who negotiated a $15 million settlement between Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson isn’t too pleased that she later disavowed the agreement and he is suing her for his cut of the settlement which he says should have been accepted.
According to George, he completed the settlement to the best of his abilities and because it was originally agreed upon Oksana owes him his share.
In arbitration documents George says his firm was promised 10% of the settlement, but none of the money that was set aside for child support.

Vince Neil Will Serve Jail Time Over DUI Arrest

Mötley Crüe rocker Vince Neil will be spending a few weeks in jail after agreeing to plead guilty during next weeks DUI case.
According to the Clark County District Attorney’s office, Neil will serve two weeks behind bars.
Neil will officially plead guilty under terms of her agreement when he heads to court on Jan. 26.
Neil will receive 15 days in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas and then 15 days under house arrest, although we suspect his 15 days behind bars will be cut down due to “overcrowding.”

Wow. What will the world be like if these two nut jobs are actually getting along and enjoying a respectful, amicable relationship? We may find out, as the epic child custody war between Jon and Kate Gosselin is officially over.
The former stars of Jon and Kate Plus 8 have reached a settlement agreement. The terms are extremely confidential, but the new deal replaces a previous one in which Jon was on the hook for child support he could not pay.
Jon filed documents in a Pennsylvania court asking for custody of their eight kids in April, looking to renegotiate those child support payments.

Why on Earth would Oksana Grigorieva turn down $15 million?
Because under a deal she nearly signed, but ultimately left on the table, she would have had to give Mel Gibson unsupervised visitation with daughter Lucia.
Apparently that was enough for the actor’s ex to back out.
We told you earlier how, during her mediation with Mel in May, Oksana agreed to a $15 million package in which she would keep all “evidence” confidential.
By evidence, we mean her secret phone tapes, six of which have leaked online this month, and presumably the Mel Gibson text messages leaked Thursday.

After a court battle that was getting ugly in a hurry, Jesse James agreed to allow his second ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, a supervised visit with their child.
Tomorrow, Janine will have a long-awaited reunion with Sunny James, daughter of Jesse James and stepdaughter to his now-estranged wife Sandra Bullock.
The motorcycle mogul’s attorneys met with Lindemulder and her legal team in court on Thursday to finalize the agreement for her to visit the six-year-old.
