Lily Allen(HMG Celebrity News) – British singer Lily Allen is really going through a really difficult time in her life. And now just five days after announcing that she had suffered a late term miscarriage (6 months pregnant), it is now being reported that she has been hospitalized with a case of blood poisoning known as septicemia.

The singer was rushed back to the hospital on Friday by ambulance for the potentially lethal bacterial blood infection, which can develop into septic shock if left untreated. Symptoms of septicemia often develop quickly and may include a high fever, faintness, delirium, violent shivering, shallow breathing and even loss of consciousness. Antibiotics is the main course of treatment.

A rep for the 25-year-old said: “She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve.”

This was the second recent miscarriage for Lily, who previously suffered one in 2008 when she was dating Ed Simons, a pop star and DJ from the Chemical Brothers.
