Ryan Rottman DUI, Zac Efron to blame?
As you may have seen yesterday, Ryan Rottman was arrested in Hollywood for DUI. It turns out he was drinking with some actor friends including Zac Efron, and people now say Zac shares the blame for Ryan’s arrest.
Ryan was drinking at Dillon’s Irish Pub on Hollywood Boulevard with Zac, Rumer Willis [daughter of Bruce] and a few other pals, and this merry band is said to have downed no less than seven Kamikaze shots, eight mixed drinks and three or four beers. Then Ryan got into a car.
And that’s where people say Zac should have helped.
The group left Dillon’s at about 9.30pm. It’s known Zac got a ride with Rumer but Ryan was left to drive home on his own. Within 15-minutes he ran his car over a curb…and the LAPD did the rest.
It can only be dumb luck or chance that stopped Rottman sharing a harp with the late Ryan Dunn, but Zac could – and friends now say should – have intervened, as his friend would have clearly been unfit to drive.
His reps were asked if their client made any effort to get Ryan a cab but they won’t return calls. So what do you think – Was Zac at fault, or are Rumer and his other so-called friends just trying to duck the blame?
