Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels(HMG Celebrity News) – Six months after a bitter break-up, country star Melissa Etheridge’s ex-wife Tammy Lynn Michaels is claiming she’s broke and is blaming Melissa for letting their children go hungry.

The pair got engaged in April 2003 and married in Malibu on September 20th. In October ‘08 they announced Tammy was expecting twins via an IVF treatment. The result was a girl, Johnnie Rose and a son, Miller Steven, born on October 17th of 2006.

Then things went sour – On April 15 of this year the couple announced they’d separated. Two months later, Michaels’ attorney, Steven Knowles, told reporters his client “Literally has no cash.”

Hersh tore that claim to shreds, and had proof. But now she’s at it again;

On Saturday. Tammy obliquely blamed and referenced Melissa in a blog-post entitled “Just a cornucopia of thoughts.” In it, Tammy makes short, unqualified statements about being too broke to even eat dinner sometimes;

“When i went to get cash for the three of us to eat…nothing,” reads one entry. “Little cash for lunch? Nope – not enough funds. No food” says another. Then there’s “’Pays all the bills?’ Not entirely true ‘Pays all the bills she chooses to pay / are important enough to pay’ is more accurate.’”

With the rambling over, Tammy then vents on her position as the spurned ex;

“What the f*** is marriage all about anyway? I thought I did everything I was supposed to do; Support, love family, be there, love…Right?” she fumes. “All for naught, or have I still everything to learn about love? Or letting go of this is the lesson of loving.”

Later, Tammy blames Melissa’s attorney. Neal Hersh for causing her troubles; “She plays the games with her lawyer now,” Michaels writes, “By being quiet.”

But with her alleged fiscal crisis now shared, the actress turns philosophical to close out her post;

“I don’t think I know what love is?” she writes. “Smoke and mirrors, ladies!!! Smoke and mirrors! Don’t fall for it! It’s all a line-up for bull that’ll leave you with saggy boobs and stretch marks in the end.”

There’s been no response from Melissa as yet, but a cat fight like this has the potential to be would be gold to the tabloids, so you can bet they’re making inquiries.
