Jay Mohr and Nikki Cox celebrate Cinco de Mayo with new son

[HMG Celebrity News] – Cinco de Mayo is reason to celebrate but some people had more reason than others – ‘Last Comc Standing’ host, Jay Mohr and his wife, ‘Las Vegas’ star, Nikki Cox have welcomed a son.

Weighing a healthy 6lbs 7oz, Meredith Daniel Mohr is said to be fit and well and the new parents are clearly quite impressed by his debut;

“We’re over the moon, filled with joy and every other cliché new parents use,” they told People. “He’s perfect.”

This is the second time Jay’s been a dad – He married fashion model Nicole Chamberlain on November 1998 and they had son, Jack. But the marriage collapsed in 2005. Jay and Nikki married in December 2006 at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.

If the new star’s name sounds unusual we’re told he was named after Nikki’s late father – Meredith Cox. And unisex names are supposedly the latest fashion so the couple joined in.
