DWTS star, Derek Hough in love with Cheryl Cole
[HMG] – In a rare case of good news from the celebrity world it’s being reported that X-Factor judge, Cheryl Cole and Dancing with the Stars’ Derek Hough have discovered true love.
Their romance has been widely rumored, but Derek’s stepfather has now confirmed the connection.
“For Derek this is true love,” says Aaron Nelson. “And she feels the same about him. Cheryl’s the girl of his dreams and he’d follow her to the ends of the Earth.”
And the new couple plan to cement their alliance on a romantic vacation.
“Derek’s in London on a five-week break,” Aaron tells the Mirror. “But they are going on a romantic trip. Derek’s also looking for a new home in LA, and we’ll have to see what the future holds.”
The new romance might also help take Cheryl’s mind off her oncoming divorce from British soccer player, Ashley Cole.
“What Ashley did to her was terrible,” Aaron muses. “Sports players make a load of money and suddenly have girls throwing themselves at them. Derek has been through that and came out okay. He would never cheat, and his mom’s very happy he’s found someone special.”
The new coupling has been in the mix for some time – In February, Derek was spied sneaking into Cheryl’s West Hollywood hotel during her trip to LA. At the same time, Cheryl was seen with musician, Will I Am, which made Derek crazy.
But on Thursday the pair were back together at a party in Paris, and are ready to go public with their connection – Probably once Ashley completes his commitments in this year’s soccer World Cup, which starts in South Africa on June 11.
“It’s getting hard for them to disguise their feelings, and they’re tired of sneaking around,” says a friend. “If they’re photographed on vacation together it will be tough to deny they’re an item.”
But his stepfather couldn’t be happier.
“Derek knew what he was doing when he got into dancing,” Aaron shares. ”Women go crazy for him, but he’s a good man with a bright future. And with the right woman at his side, anything is possible.”
