David Arquette and Courteney Cox

(HMG Celebrity News) – There have had problems in the past but everyone thought that was behind them, especially when they just got involved in another “Scream” trilogy together, of which the first is due out next year. Courteney Cox and David Arquette even met on the set of the first film “Scream” in 1996 and married three years later. They have a 6-year-old daughter Coco together. But Cox, 46, and Arquette, 39, who have been married for 11 years, released a joint statement Monday that they have been separated for some time but said they remain committed parents and “best friends.”  The statement Monday said they were comfortable with the boundaries they had set up and hoped they would be treated with dignity by friends, family and the media. The statement was released shortly after In Touch Weekly broke the story that Courteney and David were separated and TMZ claims it is because pictures surfaced of David and bartender – actress Jasmine Waltz. with whom he has been intimate, according to sources connected with the couple. Sources say Jasmine is a “serial Hollywood dater.” She has been linked to other celebs like Ryan Seacrest and Jesse McCartney.  Despite that revelation of David already being with another woman the same sources say there is a “real possibility” they could still get back together.
