Courteney Cox - Brian Van Holt[HMG] – In what could almost be a case of reality intruding on fiction, ‘Cougar Town’ star Courteney Cox is now said to getting rather close to her co-star, Brian Van Holt.

Spies tell Star magazine that the 45-year old actress has been seen in public four times in less than a month with her five-year younger co-star. And her husband of ten years, David Arquette was nowhere in sight.

In once example, the pair were spied at Malibu’s ‘Coral Beach Cantina’ on May 7th, without either David or their 5-year-old daughter, Coco in tow.

“They were drinking beer and having chips and salsa on the patio,” says an eyewitness. “They looked like they were holding hands by the side of their table.”

With dinner completed the pair went their own ways, but not before Brian gave Courteney what sources swear was a kiss.

But the two coworkers were also together last weekend at a party for Howard Stern. And when David was recently honored by St. Joseph’s Medical Center at their huge annual gala, Courteney was right there at his side.

Now, do you really think two secret lovers would get near Howard Stern? The man’s not a mound of discretion.

Before we all get overheated, sources close to the actress say the Star’s claims are ‘untrue,’ and that Courteney and Brian are “no more than great friends.”

Personally, I don’t buy the idea that they’re ‘cheating’ at all – do you?…
