The Walking Dead surged to record ratings throughout its third season, often defeating its non-cable competition among the key advertising demographic of 18-49-year olds.

Dr. Oz Sued for Painful, Failed Insomnia Cure

A New Jersey resident named Frank Dietl has sued Dr. Oz because he claims an insomnia cure recommended by the talk show host left him with third-degree burns.
The remedy – titled “knap-sack heated rice footsie” – was outlined by Oz on April 17, 2012.
It asks the patient to fill a pair of socks with uncooked rice; heat them up via microwave; and then place said socks on one’s feet.
Oz did warn viewers to be careful with the temperature of the socks, but Dietl claims they burned him nonetheless.

The singer was in New York City, sitting in the front row for the first-ever NEO by Adidas fashion show (she serves as brand ambassador) when a woman handed her a flyer that read: “Selena Gomez: Be an ambassador for children, not for sweatshops.”

Casey Anthony Wins Appeal of Two Convictions For Lying to Police

Two of Casey Anthony’s four convictions for lying to authorities during the investigation into her daughter Caylee‘s disappearance have been dismissed, according to reports.
Casey’s legal team appeared on her behalf in the 5th District Court of Appeals in Florida to appeal all four convictions and ask that they be thrown out.
