Kate Hudson is reportedly very upset that her father, Bill Hudson, has written a scandalous book about the actress and her famous mother, Goldie Hawn.

Two Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family claims Hawn carried on brazen affairs during their relationship and begged him for an open marriage.

Bill Hudson, a musician, alleges that Hawn had dalliances with Shampoo co-star Warren Beatty and French actor Yves Renier while they were married.

Kate Hudson, Matt Bellamy show off new baby Bing (PHOTO)

In this week’s edition of things that make you saw “Awwwww,” we present you the first photo of Kate Hudson’s newborn son Bingham “Bing” Hawn Bellamy. The snapshot shows a visibly happy Hudson holding a sleeping Bing in her arms. Congratulations to the duo.

Bingham “Bing” was born on July 9 in Los Angeles. His name comes from Bellamy’s mother’s maiden name and the name of Kurt Russell’s father. He’s the first child for Bellamy and the second for Hudson who also has a 7-year old son Ryder Russell with her former rocker husband Chris Robinson.

Bing! Kate Hudson Debuts First Baby Pic …

Kate Hudson has debuted her baby Bing on Twitter.

Well, first-time dad Matthew Bellamy has, more accurately. The first-ever photo of Bingham Hawn Bellamy made its way to the Twitterverse last night.

“Family life!” the Muse rocker, 33, Tweeted beneath a gorgeous, hazy picture of a beaming Hudson, 32, cuddling their son, who was born on July 9:

“Bing” weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs. 12 oz. at birth, joining big brother Ryder, Kate’s 7-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.

Kevin Jarre, Hollywood Screenwriter, Dies at 56

Kevin Jarre, an acclaimed screenwriter who wrote Glory and Tombstone, passed away due to heart failure at his home in Santa Monica. He was 56.

Jarre was a known history buff whose interest in the Civil War lead him to write Glory in 1989. The Denzel Washington film won three Oscars.

His 1993 classic Tombstone depicts the famed shootout at the O.K. Corral, starring Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday.

Kevin Jarre also co-wrote Rambo: First Blood Part II, The Devil’s Own and The Mummy. He will be missed, but is survived by some terrific work.

Celebrific Screen Scene – May 14, 2010

Films opening this week include Robin Hood (with Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett), Letters to Juliet (Amanda Seyfried, Vanessa Redgrave), and Just Wright (Queen Latifah, Common). If those don’t interest you, there’s Iron Man 2, which looks as exciting and fast-paced as the first one, and with great graphics to boot.
