“The Wonder Years,” Actress Danica McKellar Has a Baby
(HMG Celebrity News) – Danica McKellar who famously played Fred Savage’s sweetheart Winnie Cooper on the hit 1980s TV show, has delivered a baby boy.
Draco Verta, who takes his moniker from the constellation of the same name — weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and is the first child for McKellar, 35, and her TV composer husband, Mike Verta.
“We are humbled, overjoyed and so grateful for this miraculous gift,” the new parents said in a statement. “It’s like we’ve only now just learned the true meaning of love.”
Danica, who announced her pregnancy in March, isn’t just a pretty face, she is the author of two New York Times bestsellers, Math Doesn’t Suck, and Kiss My Math, which encourage and empower middle-school girls with mathematics know-how. Her third book, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, came out in August.
